The history of Barbour began in 1894 in the Market Square of South Shields with waxed jackets produced by hand in the Simonside factory. The collections are aimed at men, women, children and now even dogs! Initially pure countrywear, today Barbour clothing is designed for every occasion and, in addition to jackets and coats, includes shirts, dresses, knitwear, footwear, accessories and more.
